Novotel West, Bordeaux Suite, 1 Shortlands, London, United Kingdom
Spend a day (or two) with the Articulate team and user community to learn more about e-learning design and how to get more from your Articulate tools.
The workshop sessions are informal, fun, and packed with tricks, tips, and ideas you can use immediately to help take your e-learning skills to the next level. And if that’s not enough, you’ll get access to the source files and video tutorials shared during the workshop.
Our workshops are designed for users of all skill levels from beginners to those with years of course building experience. However, they do anticipate at least a functional understanding of basic Storyline authoring.
You can sign up for one or both days. Sign up for both days and get a 10% discount on top of any other discounts.
If you can’t make the London workshop, we're also hosting similar events in:
I like to break e-learning course development into three core focal points: what content needs to be in the course, what should it look like, and what's the learner to do. This forms the foundation for all of our sessions as we look using the Articulate software to build courses.
These tend to be quick hit sessions where we show a boatload of tips and tricks. Some topics* include:
This day focuses on moving past click-and-read courses by reworking the content to make it more engaging and interactive. In a series of hands-on activities, we review existing content and learn some technique that when applied will completely transform your slides from standard click-and-read content to something more interactive and engaging.

*Session topics subject to change.
While we use the Articulate software, anyone is welcome to join. The sessions have general application regardless of the software. Here’s who usually attends:
There are two ways to pay by credit card: PayPal or Stripe. Some corporate cards have security settings that interrupt the transaction. If one method doesn't work, then try the other.
If you still have problems processing the credit card, please contact me.
The event is set up to process credit cards (kind of like a concert or other live events). However, if the credit card option doesn’t work, we can do a bank transfer or purchase order.
If we do a bank transfer you need to be aware of these limitations:
If you have any questions (or problems) regarding payment, please contact me.
This is not a sales event. It’s a practical, training workshop to help you learn more about building courses and using the software.
The sessions are flexible for both beginners and more advanced users. But it is assumed you have some experience using the software as it is NOT a getting-started training program. You should have familiarity with the basic authoring in Storyline. We recommend going through some of the getting-started activities & tutorials in the community. Here are your options if you do need a beginner-level training program.
We try to keep things relaxed and encourage casual attire. No need to dress business casual. Jeans are fine.
Bring your laptop with the Articulate software installed. You can always download a trial version of the software to follow along with the Articulate-specific activities. And if you just want to sit and observe without doing activities that is also OK, but you’ll have more fun participating.
We are always around to look at your work and answer questions throughout the day.
We try to provide Internet service when available, however, for the workshop it is not required. Often the wifi connections are spotty so we assume no Internet and if it’s working, that’s a bonus.
Yes. For this event, lunch is provided. You are also welcome to bring your own lunch if you have special dietary needs.
100% refund if cancelled prior to one week of the event. No refunds within one week.
