Join us for meditation with The Garden of Renewal & the 'Arch of Heaven' Solstice Celebration

10am-3pm Includes Lunch

'The Arch of Heaven' is a potent invocation of the Christ power in the Celtic tradition. It uses an evocative poem to open space for prayer ceremonially. Before we begin the prayer, we will go through it phrase by phrase, opening and building upon the energies of related saints and symbols, such as Mary, and St. Brigid; as well as traditional images that represent aspects of Christ as the Son of Light. This enables us to come to a much greater attunement than we would have if we were to just read the poem cold, resulting in a truly powerful connection. The time on or near Winter Solstice is the best time of year for this ceremony, hence our choice of date. The short ceremony itself is usually done standing, sometimes with a bit of movement, but can also be done fully seated.'

We will meet at the Labyrinth weather permitting, or we will meet at the Lobby in Mercy Center. (All guests of Mercy Center must be fully vaccinated to enter the building.)

Please bring a portable lawn chair for yourself.

For millennia, people have suffered from a delusion of separation from the environment and each other that is, at its root, a spiritual crisis of which the current global turmoil is a symptom. The Garden of Renewal is an inner world structure that radiates spiritual energies that can help each of us personally to relate with strength and resilience to the current chaos and unraveling in the social, political, economic, and ecological spheres.

Working with the Garden involves collaborating with ancestral, transpersonal, overworld, and inner nature intelligences. In the Garden, we connect spiritually to experience healing, balancing, restorative, and regenerative powers that support the best and highest in us as we all experience the upheavals and transitions that are taking place. As our inter-dimensional connections deepen, we change and mature from the inside out, to realize the potential that is already present in us as our deepest truth. We work in partnership with the spiritual forces of our planet to support humanity through the transitions, in service to the whole world, and the positive future that is possible.

This weekend time together establishes and continues our relationship with the Garden of Renewal work, Participants should come prepared to experience transformative energies as we work in service to bring strength and healing to humanity and by extension, to all life on the planet.

Andrea Boone of Santa Cruz, California draws upon over 20 years of practical study in the Celtic tradition. As an educator, mother, and grandmother she is concerned with the immediate effects of our climate crisis. An ardent environmentalist, she is a member of the Pachamama Alliance. She is currently working on a book about the Garden of Renewal to foster reconciliation with the Earth and each other.
